Shown a bathroom-door handle without a lock, my wife told the contractor, “That won’t work. My husband hides from the kids in the bathroom.”

Stay-at-home dads need a place to get away.

That’s why our next CT Dads dinner breaks our Middletown-restaurant tradition to take place at my entertaining-friendly though slightly-less-centralized home in Wolcott, Connecticut.

Sometimes we need a place to get away.

And sometimes that place needs to have a hot tub, pool, water slide, granite bar top, and three containers full of pool snacks.

July 16th is that time. From 6 PM to whenever. These things have a funny way of running late.
